Wishing for 20/20 Vision in 2020!
Good morning everyone! I am writing this very first newsletter of the year, while I am quite unenthusiastically getting ready to pack to go back home. It really is a bitter sweet feeling, because Paris has been sooooo amazing, and the people really welcoming. This experience has truly been a milestone in my career and reaffirmed my commitment to my new life as a professional artist. I am however very excited and inspired to get back home, realising my new ideas for the next artworks and seeing old friends and loved ones (and my bath, yes definitely my bath) .
While travelling through France, I have once again been struck by how important and enriching it is to be surrounded by so much art and beauty, so I seriously encourage you all to add more art, in any form, to your life. Read here about how I collect art.
“I think everything in life is art. What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art.” – Helena Bonham Carter
During my stay in Paris I had my VERY FIRST exhibition ever (clapping hands and fainting simultaneously 😉 at Café des Art. It was an incredible milestone and a huge success. The feedback was totally overwhelming, and it gave me so many new opportunities to explore. I am not taking anything for granted, and I am really going to take advantage of this momentum I have. Read more about it here , and have a look at some of the pictures that was taken during the event. It was so much fun, and I cannot wait to put new pieces together for the next exhibition.
I promise to share more of my incredible experiences with you in blogs as soon as I get home! Thank you for your incredible support, whether is it by buying my art, sending messages, liking or sharing it on social media. I truly appreciate it. I have gained more confidence and skills, and have a very clear vision for the new direction I want to take my art in.
So let 2020 be our year of perfect vision.
