The “Crucible”- Series was forged while I was undergoing serious self reflection, reinventing myself, and dealing with past traumas.

The dresses speak to our traditions and moral fibre / foundations, while the symbolism of the animals reinforce my struggle with rebirth, transformation and moving forward.

Crucible: A very significant and difficult trial or test

 Snake: Represents a creative life force. As snakes shed their skin, they are symbols of rebirth, transformation, immortality and healing.  

Pig: Represents determination, forward- moving and sincerity. 

Rabbit: Symbolizes and vulnerability, desire, and procreation.
